21 weeks!!!

We had our 20 week ultrasound last week and our Dr. appointment today. It was the first time Alex got to meet Dr. Gootjes. He really liked her, she is just so down to earth and nice! We went over the baby's ultrasound and got to hear her heartbeat of course; it was 164 today. The baby was so active today again!!! Dr. Gootjes could hardly even get the heartbeat cause baby was shakin and movin so much! 

I've felt the baby move a couple times now (we've taken to calling the baby Ruth, so that we don't slip up in front of someone with her real name! Kinda cheesy we know :) And the Dr. said that I will probably start feeling her a LOT within the next couple weeks since she always seems to be moving so much whenever we see her! 

The ultrasound report was good. "Ruth" is small, she's in the 13th percentile but the Dr. didnt seem concerned at all. She said that in comparison to the rest of her body though, her belly is kinda big :) I'm sure a lot of that will change already by my next appointment though. I have a couple ultrasound pictures that I will try to get up one of these days, but our scanner is being picky tonight. I'll try again later this week maybe. 

I sure dont feel like a cute pregnant lady, but I will post a profile of me at 21 weeks. gettin big! But feeling pretty good. I know i will regret not taking pictures if I dont. I already do regret not taking any pictures before now!!! oh well....
